Sesame Ginger Salmon | Delish D'Lites

Salmon is definitely my all-time favorite fish.  It has such a unique flavor that stands up to assertive flavors, and you can’t deny the fabulous health benefits, either. I pair spicy ginger and garlic with salty soy sauce and sweet agave, to make an super flavorful marinade to bathe the salmon in.  After soaking overnight, I grill up the salmon until it’s charred on the outside and perfectly moist in the center.  My sesame ginger salmon is complex in flavor, yet super simple to prepare.  Put this recipe on your to-do list next time you are craving salmon, with an Asian flavored twist!

ingredients4 6 oz salmon fillets, about 2″ thick
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp avocado oil (or other flavorless oil)
2 tablespoons seasoned rice wine vinegar

2 teaspoons sesame oil
4 green onions, sliced
2 garlic cloves, grated
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted

Marinate the salmon in the fridge at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight.

When you’re ready to cook up the salmon, preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.  Sear the salmon for 5 to 8 per side, depending on how you well-done like your salmon.
